Author Biography


Author and illustrator of the Dracopedia book trilogy, William O'Connor has also created over 5,000 illustrations for the gaming and publishing business. In his 25-year career, William has worked with such companies as Wizards of the Coast, Impact Books, Blizzard Entertainment, Sterling Publishing, Lucas Films, Activision, and many others. He's won more than 30 industry awards for artistic excellence, including ten contributions to Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantasy Art and ten Chesley Nominations. O'Connor has taught and lectured around the country and regularly contributed to the popular art blog Muddy Colors. He's exhibited his work at such industry shows as Illuxcon, New York Comic Con, and Gen Con. William lives with his family and keeps his studio in New York.
