In 1999, Gilligan "Gilley" Goldfish left the deep blue yonder of Grandma Goldfish's pond and set out to stake his claim as the most sought after species actor in America. Gilley's big break came as he auditioned for and got the part of the goldfish in a commercial for eCampus.com. The commercial brought a landslide of media attention to the company, led by the goldfish friendly watchdog group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) who were in an uproar over the travesties suffered by Gilley Goldfish in the making of his hit commercial. Luckily for Gilley, eCampus secured the services of a rubber stunt double for the infamous skillet scene and he stood idly by as animal rights history was made.

Today, Gilley lives off eCampus royalties as the official spokesfish for the company. Gilley understands his greatest value as a company ambassador is that goldfish are EASY, FAST and CHEAP:

You'd be surprised just how fast a goldfish really is. If you ever wanna find out, just drop some fish flakes into your aquarium after a few days of not feeding it.
(We're just kidding PETA, geez.)

You can either grab a goldfish for $3 tops at your local pet store, or you can drive to Iowa where we hear a lady is selling puppies for $2,000.
