Customer Reviews

Wonderful Book August 3, 2011
What an incredible textbook. I bought this without cracking it open, having enjoyed and been inspired by many of Chris Ware's previous works. In my opinion, this is the best stuff he has published to date. His way of communicating the simple visual world of a child, for example, is brilliant. Visual themes and objects appear and reappear, giving the story a sense of rhythm that is impeccable. As one other reviewer mentioned, any lover of literature could not help but be bowled over by this visual epic. Buy without hesitation. Buy one for a friend.
