Summary
This innovative product from Adobe Press combines interactive video and a full-color printed reference to teach the fundamentals of Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5, Adobe's exciting new interaction design tool built with designers in mind. The video is wrapped in a unique interface that allows the viewer to jump to any topic and also bookmark individual sections for later review. The unique Watch-and-Work mode shrinks the video into a small window to allow the student to work alongside in Illustrator. Author Biography
Rufus Deuchler has worked as a corporate and editorial designer throughout Europe, and has been teaching graphic design since 1995. In 2002, Adobe Italia invited Rufus to become a cross-media guru to help spread the word about Adobe products and what they can do. Since then, he has been talking about and teaching Adobe creative software and workflows all over the world.
Kevin Ruse is an enthusiastic instructor who has taught at various colleges and universities in the United States and provides training to Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States and Europe. Kevin has over 20 years’ experience in the graphic design and production industry from concept to finished product. He is the author of the Web Standards Design Guide, a guide to internet standards that has been very well received in the U.S. college market.
