Worth Purchasing  March 17, 2011

This textbook has been a great help in my Social Work Class. It has covered everything that I have needed. It provides a comprehensive overview of social welfare policy in the US. It also captures the details and the spirit of events that shape our national experiences. If you are interested in how a general policy got to be the way it is today, this is a good place to start looking.

As a polysci major I have to read stuff like this all the time and this book isnt much different from the others. Its pretty dry but contains some good cases to look at. I did however think the price here is exceptionally cheap! just over $50 for a textbook rental is a great deal.

American Social Welfare Policy: 4.5 out of 5 stars based on 2 user reviews.
