The illustrations in this textbook are excellent, and the lab exercises are great for studying. It is a good complement to the textbook, because it provides a very brief synopsis of the more complicated chapters in the textbook. It is very easy to understand. The author has done an amazing job with this text, the pictures alone are worth the money and provide a solid foundation to learning the detailed concepts of physiology.
