Awesome book for learning Spanish. April 8, 2011
by
It seems as though the more Spanish students I meet, the more commonality I see in their stumbling blocks and mine. 1001 Pitfalls in Spanish does a fairly respectable job of addressing some of the most common traps in vocabulary, grammar, and usage. Just as in English, the Spanish language has exceptions to rules and hidden nuances that can be troublesome for those who attempt to speak it as a second language. It definitely cleared up some areas of confusion for me, but honestly, it seemed too narrow to justify the price. I recommend this textbook and ecampus as the best bookstore I ever dealt with!
