Author Biography

Andy Sturgeon is one of the United Kingdom's leading garden designers whose modern designs are a fusion of traditional materials and contemporary styling. A Chelsea gold medal winner, Andy worked at The RHS Gardens Wisley and as a landscape gardener before graduating from the Welsh College of Horticulture in 1987.

Andy has been included in House and Garden magazine's exclusive list of the top 50 designers in Britain and his work is also featured in BBC2's Small Town Gardens series. Andy is a garden writer for the Guardian and was previously a columnist with the Daily Mail, Daily Express and Sunday Times.
