Summary

This book was written specifically for teenagers and children with input from twelve teens and a young adult who are living with ADHD. BEV offers factual information and practical strategies in words and examples that young people can easily understand and put into practice. Dr. Barkley, a leading ADHD expert, says "without exception, this is the best book I have reviewed to date for teens with ADHD & their parents. It is clear, concise, engaging, witty, entertaining, and at times appropriately irreverent, yet more importantly it is founded on the science of ADHD not just anecdotes." Because it is an interesting, accurate resource, one university professor is using this as a study guide for parents of children with ADHD.
