Gr 5-8-These excellent volumes provide complete overviews of their subjects in a conversational style that makes them accessible to students. Each book covers the history of the disease or condition, symptoms, complications, treatment, and research. All three titles are well written and organized, and include factual information without overwhelming readers. The color photos are mostly decorative, but a few shots of dust mites, hemoglobin, and spinal-cord lesions will grab the attention of even casual browsers.-Christine A.
