Physical Agents: Theory and Practice for the Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical agents include the use of heat, cold, water, electricity, light, and mechanical devices for the rehabilitation of physical dysfunction and movement disorders. This text is targeted toward students preparing to work in the field of rehabilitation and clinicians who use these agents as an adjunct to their practice. The book is written at a level for undergraduate education and for the student who has not had a thorough foundation in general physics or physiology.
