The Practical Dreamer and Other Stories to Tell at Christmas

One way to describe Advent is that it is a journey toward the stable and manger in which Jesus was born. While Advent includes many other themes and images as well, it is at least that journey toward Bethlehem we make each year with Mary and Joseph. Our primary guides on the trip are Matthew and Luke, the two gospel writers who take time to tell of Jesus' birth. In this book Richard Olson has followed the lead of those gospel writers in offering some additional paths along which to make our way toward Christmas.
