The democratic way of development, chosen by the Kyrgyz Republic and guaranteed by the principal law of the state, the Constitution of the country, provides for the equal rights and opportunities of the people. Human rights are known to consist of political, economic, social and cultural rights, and all of them are universal. In this regard, for the tens years of its independence, the Kyrgyz Republic has adopted and implemented a large number of state concepts, strategies and programs in the sphere of socioeconomic and political reforms. In 1997 the Kyrgyz Republic adopted its national strategy for sustainable human development and entered the list of the ten pilot countries, which adopted the decisions of the UN World Conference on the Status of Women as their guidelines. Contents include: Assessment of the modern demographic and migration situation in the Kyrgyz Republic, Population, Education, the Labor market and employment of the population, Health Care, Poverty, Gender aspects of Political Equality of Men and Women. |
