Author Biography

Mark Witas has been working professionally with young people since 1985. His love for adventure includes white-water rafting, parachuting, and bungie jumping. Between speaking engagements at colleges and academies he serves as chaplain at Mount Pisgah Academy in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. The highest literary award he has received, he says, is an ice-cream cone he bought with the money from a Collegiate Quarterly article
