Author Biography

Chris Oxlade is a best-selling author of information books for children. He has written more than 200 titles on science, technology, geography, sports, and hobbies. Many of his books explain complex scientific ideas and modern technology to young readers in readable, engaging text. Chris lives in West Sussex, England.

Carles Ballesteros was born in Badalona, near Barcelona, in 1977, and has lived in Santiago, Chile, since 2011. He teaches illustration at the local university and works as an illustrator for various publishers. After completing his degree in fine art at the Universitat de Barcelona, Carles worked as an art teacher, and also completed several courses in screen painting and animation. When he creates his illustrations, he tries to imagine himself as a child again, regaining those feelings and transferring them into his art. Carles uses a mixture of traditional drawing skills with digital techniques to create his works.
