Author Biography

Capt William Rick Rubel served as Naval Officer for 30 years, including operations in the 1973 Arab-Israeli War, Iranian Contingency Operations, and Battle Damage repairs during Desert Storm. He is currently the Distinguished Military Professor of Ethics at the U.S. Naval Academy.

 

George Lucas (Ph.D., Northwestern, 1978) is Professor of Philosophy and Associate Chair of the Department of Leadership, Ethics & Law at the U.S. Naval Academy (Annapolis).
