Author Biography

Sallust (86 bc-û34 bc) was a Roman historian.
A. J. Woodman, the Basil L. Gildersleeve Professor of Classics at the University of Virginia, is the author of Tacitus Reviewed and the translator of an award-winning edition of Tacitus-' Annals.
