Imagine not having a simple source of clean water to drink from everyday. It is hard to imagine such a basic resource not being available whenever needed, but for over a billion people in our world, that is reality. About 1 in 8 people in our world do not have fresh, disease-free water to drink from in their area.
To make a radical change to these deadly water problems, eCampus.com is now working with charity: water to sponsor four water projects in Northern Ethiopia. Now rather than walking over 3 hours to retrieve water that is making these men, women, and children ill, there is fresh water available right outside their homes. This saves time that can be spent on school and work, and more importantly the water will open a gateway to sanitary living.
