Summary

Many chemical products have stereoselective activity. Therefore, chirality has become a topic of central importance in chemistry as well as a fundamental direction in pharmaceutical research activity. Because one enantiomer may present the desired activity while the other may be toxic, separation of enantiomers is particularly important.
