Excerpts

A young African-American student named Judith, allegedly high on marijuana, plunges to her death from her apartment's roof-top deck. Her broken body thuds to the ground not far from student Kirk playing basketball in the street below. Obsessed by Judith's ghastly fall, Kirk vows to risk his very life avenging her death by putting the campus weed supplier out of business.
Eventually, Kirk traces the dealer's weed supply to a top-secret, underground operation near a popular Otter Creek resort, which is both owned and operated by none other than Judith's own Uncle George, who has along with six others, taken a oath to uphold the mine's secret integrity and take care of its money-making plants.
Kirk soon learns the potential consequences of his involvement when the campus dealer becomes wise to his true intentions and George finds out that it's not only strangers whose lives are destroyed by his illegal crops. One thing is for sure, Kirk's life and Otter Creek itself, will never be the same.
