Take collage to a new level! Origami collages aren't just for primary school hallways and cork boards anymore - they're an attractive way to decorate any child's room, and are fun to assemble and display. Kids can fold the individual origami models and then compose their pieces on the included custom backgrounds that they can colour themselves! This kit contains all the custom-designed folding paper and backgrounds needed to complete six collage themes: Penguin Picnic, Starry Sky, Christmas Tree, Gingerbread House, Noah's Ark, and Playhouse. Kids will have fun folding the individual models for stand-alone play as well as arranging the pieces on the six included backgrounds which are conveniently printed in colour on one side, and include just the outlines for creative colouring fun on the reverse. Double-sided origami paper with folding lines incorporated right into the playful designs will have everyone - regardless of skill level - folding like a pro right out of the gate. Also included in the kit are step-by-step instructions from paperfolding expert Andrew Dewar. Kit includes the following custom-designed colour and collage themes: - Penguin Picnic (includes the following models: penguins, whale, fish, seabirds, seal) - Starry Sky (includes the following models: stars, comet, planet, moon, rocket) - Christmas Tree (includes the following models: candles, stockings, decorations, presents) - Gingerbread House
Andrew Dewar was born in Toronto, Canada, and is a professor at Sakura no Seibo Junior College, Fukushima, Japan. He is president of the Fukushima Paper Airplane Club, and the author of Simple Origami Airplanes and other books about paper crafts.
