Author Biography

Dana Healy has a Ph.D. in Vietnamese language and literature from Charles University, Prague. After graduation, she worked for Prague Information Service teaching and translating/interpreting from and into Vietnamese. Since 1989, she has been a lecturer at the School of African and Oriental Studies (SOAS), London and her main research interests include modern Vietnamese literature, culture and society. Her publications include articles on Vietnamese "renovation" literature.
