Author Biography

Jane Marantz Connor, PhD, maintains a practice as a consultant, trainer, and life coach for individuals, families, communities, businesses, and nonprofit groups. She is a certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication. She lives in Takoma Park, Maryland. Dian Killian, PhD, is the founder and director of the Center for Collaborative Communication, a certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication, and a certified life coach. She has designed and led Nonviolent Communication workshops for a wide range of organizations in the United States, Europe, and Asia, and is the author of the graphic novel Urban Empathy: True Life Adventures of Compassion on the Streets of New York. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
