Renting can save over the cost of purchasing:

  • When checking out, even if paying with Financial Aid, you will need to provide a valid debit or credit card as collateral.
  • Remembering the due date is the customer's responsibility it is visible when ordering, and in your Account at the Virtual Bookstore anytime. The rental book (s) must come back to us on time and in resalable condition.
  • Ship your rental book back by the rental due date using the prepaid UPS label available in your account at the Virtual Bookstore. If you want to purchase it, or extend the rental period, you can do that in your account as well.

How it works:

  • Choose this option and select the length of time needed, then add to cart.
  • As soon as you complete your order, the eBook will be available for you in your Account, there is even a link from the Order Confirmation page so you can start reading right away. Click on the cover of the book that is now on your eBookshelf. When accessing your first eBook, establish your eBook account and start reading.
  • You will be reading/viewing your book via your internet browser so you must have internet capability on whatever device you are using (except our eCampus ebooks which are read offline).
  • eBooks are usually non-returnable, non-refundable - please choose carefully.

Marketplace displays items offered for sale by individuals - they are fulfilled by the seller, not your Virtual Bookstore:

  • Sellers have five business days to confirm an order or it will be cancelled.
  • Issues must be addressed to the seller by email - please be very clear (address is in the Order History link of your account). Returns are solely at the seller's discretion. The seller has two business days to respond.
  • Contact Customer Service if the seller has not responded in that timeframe or has not resolved the issue to your satisfaction.
