Rent your textbook in just a few steps as part of your total order:

  • Select the rental option, if offered, and add to cart.
  • When checking out, even if paying with Financial Aid, you will need to provide a valid debit or credit card as collateral. To avoid additional charges to replace the rental, please return it on time and in re-saleable condition.
  • Ship your rental book back by the rental due date using the prepaid UPS label available in your account at the Virtual Bookstore. If you want to purchase it, or extend the rental period, you can do that in your account as well.

How it works:

  • Choose this option and select the length of time needed, then add to cart.
  • As soon as you complete your order, the eBook will be available for you in your Account, there is even a link from the Order Confirmation page so you can start reading right away.
  • Just click on the cover of the book that is now on your eBookshelf. When accessing your first eBook, establish your eBook account and start reading.
  • You will be reading/viewing your book via your internet browser so you must have internet capability on whatever device you are using (except our eCampus ebooks which are read offline).
  • eBooks are non-returnable, non-refundable please choose carefully.

Marketplace offers additional purchasing options items are sold by individuals and booksellers, they are fulfilled by the seller, not your Virtual Bookstore.

  • Marketplace sellers must confirm orders and shipments within five business days. If shipment confirmation is not provided within that time, you will be emailed that the order is cancelled.
  • Issues must be addressed to the seller - to email the seller, log into your Virtual Bookstore Account and click the order number under which the transaction took place, the seller name appears and allows you to send an email to this seller. Please be very clear in your email about the reason for your communication delivery, condition of the book, etc. Approval to return items for a refund is solely at the discretion of the seller.
  • Resolutions of possible issues are between the buyer and seller. Please contact the Virtual Bookstore Customer Service department ( or 877-284-6744) if all attempts to resolve issue have failed and the seller has had at least two business days to respond to your email.
