Author Biography

Marc Bosiers is Director OR; Chief of the Department of Vascular Surgery; and Vascular Surgeon, AZ St-Blasius, Dendermonde, Belgium, Dr. Bosiers received his M.D. from Catholic University (Louvain), Louvain, Belgium. He is Member of the European Society for Vascular Surgery and the International Society of Endovascular Specialists. In addition, Dr. Bosiers is a founding member of the International Society for Vascular Surgery. Peter A. Schneider is Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon and Chief of Vascular Therapy of Hawaii Permanente Medical Group at Kaiser Foundation Hospital, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Dr. Schneider received his M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery. Dr. Schneider has received several awards and honors, including awards for Quality of Service and Excellence in Patient Care. He is the author or co-author of numerous publications, including Informa Healthcare's second and third editions of Endovascular Skills: Guidewire and Catheter Skills for Endovascular Surgery, and Carotid Interventions.
