I am an amateur photographer and was into serious photography after buying my Digital SLR a year ago. Till then I was looking for a serious textbook on Digital SLR photography. Finally I got one. This textbook was just right, with lots of in-depth material about using digital SLRs, as well as tips and techniques I could apply right away. The writing tone is excellent and doesn't talk down to the reader. Busch assumes you are a serious DSLR photographer who just wants to learn how to use your tools better to take great pictures. Overall, a fine textbook for intermediate digital photographers, or anyone who is moving up to a dslr.
