Author Biography

Sarah Granger is an award-winning digital media innovator who writes and speaks on how information technology impacts our lives and our world. A first-generation digital native, Granger has spent more than 25 years launching, building, and advising Internet and social media ventures, starting with a bulletin board system she published online at age 14 in Kansas City.

Granger's writing has appeared in numerous publications, including The San Francisco Chronicle, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, The Huffington Post, Vogue, and BlogHer. She was a contributing author to three books: Ethical Hacking; Shift & Reset; and Diplomacy, Development and Security in the Information Age. Her lectures and keynotes have been delivered to a global audience at universities and conferences around the world, and she has been featured on Good Morning America, CBS News, RT, and NPR. In 2012, she was recognized as a “40 Under 40” rising star by The Silicon Valley Business Journal.
