Author Biography

Nirmala Erevelles is an associate professor of social foundations of education and instructional leadership in the Department of educational leadership, policy, and Technology Studies at the University of Alabama. She has published numerous articles in journals such as educational theory, disability and society, the American educational research journal, the journal of curriculum studies, among others. Her research interests are in transnational feminist theory, disability studies, and the sociology of education.
