Summary

Recent studies show that the majority of emotional, social, and academic problems that afflict children of divorcing parents occur within a three-year window. In this new guide, award-winning author and family therapist Dr. Joseph Nowinski gives you information and the tools to work through the transition, identify early signs, and help your children come to terms with the new family structure. When handled properly, he argues, these early challenges can lead to the development of important coping skills that will stay with your children through the rest of their lives.
