Author Biography

Jeremy Keenan is a Professorial Research Associate at the School of Oriental and African Studies. He has written many books including The Dark Sahara (Pluto Press, 2009). He is a consultant to the UN and other international organizations. He is currently employed by the European Commission as an expert to advise on the situation in the Sahel.
