The book is on analytical and numerical approaches to problems of elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) theory for line and point contacts. In the book, a significant emphasis will be made on analytical approaches to studying lubrication problems. More specifically, these are the approaches developed by the author over the years which are represented by asymptotic analytical techniques in application to lubrication problems. The main focus of the book is most practically important heavily loaded EHL problems for both line and point contacts.
