eCampus.com is one of the largest ecommerce retailers in the book industry. We buy and sell new and used books and textbooks. We've been selling textbooks online since 1999 and have a vast knowledge and inventory of textbooks, high school textbooks, used textbooks, eBooks, rental books, bestsellers and discount books. This enables us to save customers money everyday on all books and shopping needs.
Each year we continue to grow larger and with this bring new opportunities for advancement. Therefore, we are looking for strong dynamic individuals to help us in our growth process.
Virtual Bookstore Manager

Virtual Bookstore Manager Overview

The Bookstore Account Manager will thrive in a fast-paced business environment where hard work and self-motivated professionalism are quickly rewarded. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with both college and high school administrators. The position is also responsible for leading a Textbook Manager and Assistant Textbook Manager in building relationships with faculty and publishers to influence adoptions. Candidates will possess excellent communication and computer skills as well as a strong work ethic. Position includes both salary and performance-based bonus potential. Some domestic travel required during peak buyback seasons (May, June, and December).

Virtual Bookstore Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Succeed in a team environment with strong leadership skills
  • Ability to set and achieve sales goals
  • Ability to track and manage inventory
  • Ability to analyze sales history to predict future sales
  • Ability to multi-task and keep a customer focus
  • Ability to maintain gross margin growth
  • Possess an ownership mentality
  • Textbook, Bookstore, and/or Publishing experience highly desirable
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer service, account management, inventory management, and/or purchasing a plus
