Author Biography

Jamie Little is the NASCAR pit reporter for ESPN/ABC. She also covers the Indy Racing Series (including the Indy 500) and the X Games on a limited basis. She is passionate about motorsports and is well known on the NASCAR, Indy, and motocross scenes. She also hosts a variety of TV and live events, and has been featured in a number of magazines, as well as in a PlayStation video game. Danielle McCormick decided to teach herself how to fix her car after wasting thousands of pounds on a self-inflicted blown head gasket. She then decided to tell other women just how easy car maintenance can be, so she wrote the original UK version of Essential Car Care for Girls—and a phenomenon was born.
