Delightful poems about life, love, and God.  June 19, 2011
by

This is a textbook for anyone who loves poetry, religion, God, or love. It is by far the best English collection of Rumi's poetry, done by his most able translator. Wonderful prayers, poetry and parables bring Rumi's world to life, and enliven this life, injecting joyful surprise into the eternal mysteries. I was amazed how fast I received my book. I ordered this textbook a two weeks before my class and I got it before my class began.

The Essential Rumi: 5 out of 5 stars based on 1 user reviews.

Summary

The best selling Rumi book ever is now better than ever! This revised and expanded edition of the comprehensive one volume edition of America's most popular poet includes a new introduction by Coleman Barks, and 57 new poems never published before.
