Professor M Anthony Pogrel is Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California, USA, with a joint appointment in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Surgery.

Professor Karl-Erik Kahnberg is Professor Emeritus of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Institute of Odontology, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Professor Lars Andersson is Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Chairman of the Department of Surgical Sciences at the Faculty of Dentistry, Kuwait University, Kuwait.
