Burt-Thomas is the author of several books, including The Writer's Digest Guide to Query Letters, and she has taught "Breaking into Freelance Writing" in the Denver area for more than a decade. She writes the "Ask Wendy---The Query Queen" column for Writers On The Rise.com, one of Writer's Digest's Top 100 sites for writers. She lives in Colorado Springs, CO.
