Dennis Mileti, Ph.D., a national leader shaping disaster policy and research and director of the Natural Hazards Research Applications and Information Center in Boulder, Colo. Stanley Riggs, Ph.D., a renowned coastal and marine geologist and professor of geology at East Carolina University.
