Author Biography

Kristi Stephas has combined her two passions in life - young children and flying. After graduating from Iowa State with a teaching degree, she spent 6 years teaching children in elementary school. For the last 7 years she has been working as a flight attendant. One of her joys is spending time with unaccompanied minors who fly with her.Rachael Smith will be graduating from the University of California-San Diego with a BA in Visual Arts. Her love for children is calling her into a careeras an elementary school teacher, with aspirations to be an illustrator for children's books. She is happily married and enhoys the arts and outdoor sports. This is her illustrating debut.
