Summary

From object to Life opens the door into the remarkable world of a blindness that perceives other humans as closer to objects than to living souls. From his extensive studies Duncan realized that Wittgenstein, Einstein, Simone Weil, David Bohm, Gabriel Marcel and at least some of the early gnostics probably had Asperger's, and that to a surprising extent, this explained the nature of their writings.

Author Biography

David Duncan studied Einstein's works with John Stachel at Boston University. Later he investigated visual neurophysics at Dartmouth College, writing a master's dissertation on the effects of flickering lights on color perception. At the University of Minnesota he wrote a PhD dissertation on Wittgenstein's philosophy and the nature of explanation. More recently he helped to design self-timed computer logic for Theseus Logic.
