Pieter Seuren has been a Research Fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen since 1999 when he retired as Professor of Theoretical Linguistics at the University of Nijmegen. His books include Discourse Semantics and Semantic Syntax (Blackwell 1985 and 1996) and A View ofLanguage (OUP 2001), Language in Cognition, and The Logic of Language (OUP, 2001, 2009, and 2010).
