Author Biography
Gerald Hinde left his career as managing director of a family motor business in 1989 for his first love: photographing life in the African bush. He has won many awards, including the BBC Wildlife photographer of the year competition, Agfa Wildlife Awards (overall winner, 2000), UN Environment Program International Wildlife Photographic Competition and the Fuji Profoto Awards. His work has been published widely in books, national and international magazines, and on calendars and postcards.
