Author Biography

Peter V. Brett is the bestselling author of The Demon Cycle, which includes The Painted Man (re-published as The Warded Man in the U.S.), The Desert Spear, and The Daylight War, and has two more forthcoming novels in the series. In addition to the quintet, he has published three standalone novellas and has one standalone novel forthcoming. After writing The Painted Man during his commute on the F train, he left his day job to pursue writing full time, and currently lives in Brooklyn with his daughter Cassandra.
