The Handbook on Animal Assisted Therapy provides an excellent overview of the issues surrounding the professionals, the clients/participants, and the dogs. This textbook provides excellent resources for articles by professionals in a variety of disciplines that is critical to understand if we are to maintain professional standards. It is a must have for entry level and seasoned professionals, alike.
