Even though divorce is a difficult milestone, there are practical things a couple can do, individually or together, to make it go a lot easier. Author Ed Sherman shows how most divorces fit one of several profiles. Once you discover your own profile, Ed Sherman leads you through the process, step by step, to overcome what otherwise will be severe emotional and financial obstacles. Communication, organizational and negotiation tools are presented - all of them proven successful in the course of 35 years of experience with over 45,000 cases. The book includes a CD with additional resources, tools and software. It offers topics on 'The Divorce Road Map', 'Why the Real Divorce is Free', 'Tips on Divorce Law', 'Strategies for the Difficult Divorces', and more. The 2nd edition also features new material on the importance and benefits of divorce mediation.
