Summary

From one of the most sought after speakers in nursing, this med-surg review doesn't overload students with dozens of hours of memorization; but rather, cuts student study time in half by focusing only on the need-to-know, most important information.

Author Biography

Marlene Hurst, RN, MSN, ANPC, is a Registered Nurse and a recipient of a Masters of Science in Nursing degree from the Mississippi University for Women. She is also a certified Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner, a certified Critical Care Nurse, and an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Instructor.

Marlene started Hurst Review Services in 1988, aimed at educating and preparing nursing students for certification tests and careers as nurses or other health-related professionals. Through her company, Marlene and her faculty train approximately 30,000 students a year to succeed in nursing school and on the NCLEX examination.

Marlene keeps her content and program current by researching new tools and techniques, updating her lecture materials, and gathering first-hand nursing knowledge through clinical experience.
