David Atkinson is a full-time freelance travel writer based in England's Northwest and a full-time dad to three-year-old Maya. He has taken Maya with him on various assignments in Wales, Cumbria and northern Britain, which lead to articles published in the Observer, Sunday Telegraph, the Express and Wanderlust magazine.
