Summary
Is there an afterlife, a God, a heaven, or a hell? Will I be alone, feel peace or pain? At some point — a loved one’s death, a personal health scare, even a photo in the newspaper — we confront the most fundamental questions of existence. In this trailblazing exploration, author Julia Assante probes these questions, approaching history, religion, near-death experiences, and after-death communication with scholarly precision. She then offers compelling, convincing evidence for discarnate existence and communication with the dead. This communication, she writes, is not only possible but normal, and "you don’t have to be a saint, shaman, or medium to do it." Contact with the dead liberates the living from fear, guilt, grief, and uncertainty and creates a transformative shift in our experience of existence.
