Author Biography

DR ANDREW BELLENKES is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) for the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California and Invited Lecturer and Workshop Facilitator for the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies Seminar on Transatlantic Civil Security. He has more than 40 years of university, postgraduate and professional-level teaching experience and has authored more than 100 professional abstracts, presentations and papers on human factors and health security strategy.

DR JAMES ANDERSON is Professor of International and Security Studies at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. He has previously worked in the US Pentagon and as an associate professor of international relations at a number of institutions. He has written on a broad range of national security topics. His current research interests include US foreign and defence policy, international terrorism and Middle East security challenges.
