Author Biography

Walter Dean Myers has written many acclaimed novels for teenagers and middle-grade readers. He is a four-time winner of the Coretta Scott King Award for Fallen Angels; Motown and Didi: A Love Story; The Young Landlords; and Now is Your Time, a history of African-Americans; and also received a Newbery Honor for Scorpions. Walter Dean Myers lives with his family in Jersey City, New Jersey.
